State Rep. Harold Dutton, Jr. spoke at the 21st Annual March to Abolish the Death Penalty on October 10, 2020 (online only this year because of the pandemic).
Rep Dutton has sponsored a bill to abolish the death penalty in the Texas Legislature every session since 2003.
Sponsors included: Austin Abolitionists, Texas Death Penalty Abolition Movement, Texas Moratorium Network, Kids Against the Death Penalty, Texas Death Penalty Education and Resource Center, Reed Justice Initiative, Amnesty International-UT, Texas After Violence Project, and Journey of Hope.
