I am not anti Death Penalty, or anything like that. But what was done here is no different then an intentional murder/cover up. The states evidence was false, It has been proven to be false, and Rick Perry gave the order to go forward with execution. Well in doing so in my eyes, he has committed murder, there fore should suffer the same penalty for murder shouldnt he? Do we not hold our poloticians to the same standards as they hold us to? His orders directly to the death of an innocent man, not only that, a man that had been accused of killing his family. Not only did he kill him but he totured him with the legacy of a man that killed his family. I believe Mr Perry's punishment should suit the crime. Capital Murder.

I am not a very smart guy when it comes to matters like this. I do believe in the Death Penalty, but what has happened here is down right horrible. A man sat in prison, accused of killing his family via arson, convicted, put to death (even though several forensic specialist, one being the states own, said that he was not guilty of arson) all by the authority of Gov Rick Perry? Well in todays law if I tell you to shoot someone, and you do it, Especially if I am your boss, and your job would be on the line for disobediance if you didnt, Does that not constitute the cohersion of murder? It is a capital crime within it self. Why is this man not arrested, on trial , convicted, and on death row yet? He pushed the execution of an innocent man thru. He canceled the testimony of those that were going to say that. His own states investigator says there is no sign of arson. An arrest should be made.

I have followed this VERY closely and have read everything available on this case. It just seems to me that the Guv has done everything possible to cover his butt. I am not anti death penalty, for from it. But the simple fact is the state of Texas ignored every report that showed that the original report COULD have been wrong. Multiple experts were used in examining the case and found the states finding of arson WRONG. Mr. Perry then replaced the chair and 2 members of the sitting council and replaced them with his own people. Looks like a cover up to me. I hope to God he doesn't run for president because, in my opinion, he is as big a criminal as the state of Texas made Todd Willingham out to be.
